Each day begins with an energizing morning yoga sessions overlooking the sea, followed by nourishing meals made with local, seasonal ingredients. You’ll have plenty of time to relax on the beach, wild swimming, explore the nearby coastline, or simply unwind under the Sicilian sun.
You'll also explore the island's stunning landscapes with a guided hike through the mountains, where panoramic views, beautiful lakes and fresh air deepen your connection to nature and self.
Evenings are dedicated to gentle practices like Yin yoga, meditation and mindful breathwork — all designed to help you reset, recharge, and reconnect with yourself.
Whether you’re looking to deepen your practice, find stillness, or just take a much-needed pause from daily life, this retreat is your invitation to slow down and come home to yourself.
As part of the retreat, you'll also be invited to join a unique “Painting Through Movement” workshop — an expressive session where breath, body, and color come together. Guided through intuitive movement and creative flow, you'll translate emotion into art, using the body as a bridge between inner experience and visual expression. No art experience needed — just openness and curiosity.

A day in the retreat:

8.30am: Early Risers Beach Meditation and Wild Swimming (Optional)
9:30am to 10:30am: Breakfast
11am: Energising Vinyasa Yoga (or Hatha Yoga)
1pm: Farm to Table Lunch
2pm to 5pm: Free time | Relaxing at the beach
5:30pm: Yang to Yin Yoga
7:30pm: Dinner
8:30pm: Gather and Connect

TRAVEL: HOW DO I GET TO AND FROM VILLA VENERE:
As Villa Venere is in such a beautiful, remote location, there’s a little drive to get there after your flight. Little effort at the start, but definitely worth it for the experience of such a beautiful location.
Villa Venere is a little over an hour drive from Catania Fontanarossa Airport.
There are 2 main options I’m recommending for travel
Option #1: WE HELP WITH TRAVEL FROM CATANIA: Book a Flight to Catania Fontanarossa Airport (I’d also recommend arriving the night before and exploring Catania!) and we will assist you in booking travel to Villa Venere.
Option #2: RENT A CAR: Book a flight to Catania Fontanarossa Airport and you can choose to rent a car and drive to Villa Venere yourself.
ABOUT YOUR HOST:
A former ballet dancer with a lifelong passion for movement, Charon has spent most of her life exploring the body through a wide range of movement practices. Her journey eventually led her to yoga, which has become a fundamental part of her life for over a decade.
With a deep respect for the connection between breath and body, Charon's teaching style encourages students to move with awareness, presence, and intention. She offers a nurturing and grounded space where practitioners can cultivate both strength and softness through mindful movement. Drawing on her deep understanding of anatomy and movement mechanics, she weaves functional movement into her practice, thoughtfully adapting to the individual needs of each student. Her aim is to make the practice both accessible and supportive—building strength, mobility, and resilience in a way that aligns with the body's natural patterns.
Charon regularly teaches Vinyasa, Hatha, Yang to Yin and Yin Yoga across various studios in London. Drawing from her background in dance and somatic movement, Charon brings a unique sensitivity and embodied wisdom to her teaching, inviting students to explore yoga not just as a practice, but as a way of coming home to themselves.
